UNIVERSITY OF SAN AGUSTIN
GYMNASIUM
San Agustin attained university
status in March 1953 making it the First University in Western Visayas. It
is the first and only augustinian university in the Asia-Pacific
region. It is a community of one mind and heart
affirming its position as an excellent center of humanistic,
Christian-Augustinian education, committed to promote the common good and the
transformation of the person and society.
The University of San Agustin’s campus, situated in the very heart of the city
at General Luna Street, has a modern gymnasium, an auditorium, various
conferences and seminar rooms, science, computer and speech laboratories, a
museum, a bookstore, a library, an instructional media center, tennis and
badminton courts.
Gymnasium is the most amazing place
where my heart belongs to. From freshmen year up to the senior year USA
gymnasium has been a part of my life as a student. This is one of the places in
the University of San Agustin where amazing events happen. I’ve seen so many celebrations, activities,
competitions and other events in this place. And for over 4 years of staying in
this university it is a dream come true for me to step down in the hard-court
playing basketball.
